Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before registering for a course through LifeSupport.Academy. By submitting your registration and proceeding with payment, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the applicable course requirements, attendance rules and fees.

1. Registration and Payment

  1. Registration will be confirmed only after payment of the applicable course fee has been received and the registration details have been verified by the training centre.
  2. Participants must provide the following documents with their registration:
    1. A recent passport-size photograph.
    2. A copy of their Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC), where applicable.
  3. The course fee covers applicable course-related expenses, including the import or procurement of American Heart Association (AHA) course materials and course cards, where applicable.

2. Attendance and Absence

  1. Participants who cannot attend their registered course date must inform the training centre at least one week before the course. Failure to provide timely notice may result in the participant being marked absent and being required to pay the applicable absent fee before joining a subsequent course.
  2. Participants must arrive on time. A participant arriving more than 10 minutes after the course start time may be marked absent and refused entry to that session. The applicable absent fee will be charged before the participant can attend a subsequent course, subject to the training centre’s arrangements.
  3. Participants must redeem their required eBook and complete the prescribed pre-course work before attending, where applicable. Participants who arrive without redeeming the required eBook or completing mandatory pre-course work may be marked absent and refused entry to the course.
Before attending:

Check your course instructions, redeem the required eBook, complete all assigned pre-course work and confirm the reporting time with the training centre. Requirements may differ between BLS and ACLS.

3. Examination, Skills Testing and Remediation

  1. Participants who do not pass the required examination or skills tests during the course may be offered remediation on a date scheduled by the training centre, normally within 30 days of the original course date. The remediation fee is waived for the first scheduled remediation attempt, subject to the conditions below.
  2. Participants who fail to pass remediation, or who fail to attend their scheduled remediation session, will be required to pay the applicable re-take fee. They must then attend the complete course again on a subsequent available date and meet all applicable course completion requirements.

4. Refunds and Transfers

  1. The course fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Participants should confirm their eligibility, preferred date, venue and availability before paying the course fee.
Important:

Please contact the training centre before payment if you have questions about your eligibility, attendance, course materials or the applicable fees.
